Obviously this new think-tank is not about science as such but about pushing a materialistic, Darwin-undergirded conception of science. Question: Did Kurtz ever get the memo from the NCSE that evolution is religiously neutral?

Mission statement: A Global Federation committed to science, reason, free inquiry, secularism, and planetary ethics

What's the problem here Dr Dembski?
Science is religiously neutral. But certainly not politically neutral.

Because the Intelligent Design can't have any substance as a scientific item, being essentially a religious/spiritualistic movement, the Discovery Institute attacks at the political arena. What do you expect? No reaction?
Expect to be challenged from every side and at every level and forget the old calm days of quite/free proselytism.

You chosen politics to support ID. You will have to play the game outside your church now :-)

And this is about Science's protection from spiritualistic attacks, not pushing materialistic philosophy.
